Improved my 1/4mile time but still not into the 12s

If i could sort my crap launches it would do it.

Run the car for the first time today after changing from 4wd exhaust manifold to 2wd, pulls a lot harder at the top end

Wanted to do 3 things,

Get into the 12s

Do 90mph @ the 1/8

Do 115mph over finish

Well 2 out of 3 aint bad


60ft = 2.395

1/8 = 8.829 @ 90.55mph

1/4 = 13.127 @ 115.59mph

Still on 803s with 22lb of boost

 

good terminal speed,crap 60ft!,was yours the silver 4i?

The black 4I did

12.5 @ 109mph

and thats got a V6

 

As above really, the car is obvioulsy making the power (with those terminals) but you really need to work on your 60ft times!

 

Black 4i was 4x4 and twin turbo!!!

Just got to get my crap 60ft times down.

 

My ears nearly exploded when the jet car did it's run!

 

cossie4i get your launches sorted and will deffo be in 12s

my 60 ft was 2.120, 1/8 was 8.554 @ 89.13 and 1/4 12.930 @ 112.55 so would say
on the move your's would have the edge! my best 60ft was 2.093 and think with
a good set of tyre's would deffo be better!

 

saw you run mate very impresive.

i ran 13.8 1/4 at 10psi of boost. gray s2 with white 17s and area-six in the windowscreen.

it was a good day, shame about the wind.

practice

trying to keep the rev's up and not bogging i think is what you call it and trying to
keep any wheel spining to a minimum!

i spent some time on a quiet road to practice on launching it and showing no
respect to my rear diff

going to try and get some better tyre's next time as i was on marragoni tyres
which to be honest are crap
