hi just a quickie simon , hopin you can help, i took my moiter out and put it in my new car, i took the plug off the back anyway now the throttle is readind in reverse , ie when no throttle is on it read 100% and then when i press the throttle it goes from 100% down to whatever i press the throttle, does this sound like i have put a plug back on incorrectly??? any advise appreciated, everything else is workin ok on it, it worked pefect before in my old car

Easy, Set up the throttle in the setup menu to the correct type !!!!

I think you have the 2wd / 4wd setting wrong

wow, quick response do they work differently on 2wd and 4wd, this one is 4wd and my previous was 2wd, so is there a setting for 2wd and 4wd???

the strut brace, Yes there is a setting in the sensors set up menu !!!

Hope you have the instruction manual still - you will need it.

If not, I will post up here the setting instructions

Yes, and yes. 2wd and 4wd have different type of TPS.

SAMPLE FORM MANUAL....

SET UP MENU

The user set up menu is accessed by pressing both buttons together at any
time while monitoring displays are active.
(You cannot access the menu if an alarm has not been acknowledged)

NOTE: Water injection control and alarm checking will not function whilst the setup menu is active.

Once entered, a list of options are available.
Each option is selected by pressing the green button (SELECT) and the option is started by pressing the red button (ENTER).
The selected option is highlighted by a flashing arrow symbol.
The list of options are described below...

RESET PEAK DATA: Allows the user to clear all peak data.

WATER INJECTION: Allows adjustment of all water injection parameters.
Use green button (SELECT) to select M.A.P or Charge
air values, use red button (ENTER) to increase value.
Value will wrap around to lower values at maximum.
Hold button down to adjust data fast.
When done, press and hold green button (SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.
Setting the M.A.P value to the lowest value will disable the water injection display in normal monitor mode and also will disable its control.

SHOW ALARMS: Allows all current alarms to be re-displayed (if any)

ALARM SETTINGS: Allows adjustment of alarm set points.
Use green button (SELECT) to select alarm to adjust,
then use red button (ENTER) to increase value.
Value will wrap around to lower values at maximum.
Hold button down to adjust data fast.
When done, press and hold green button (SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.

USER MESSAGE: Allows the user to program a startup message.
This message is displayed on power up for three seconds. This allows the lower 2 lines of the display
to be fully customized.
Use green button (SELECT) to select character position, then use red button (ENTER) to change the character. The characters will wrap around to others after the letter Z. Hold button down to adjust data fast. When done, press and hold green button (SELECT) and then press red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.



MORE . . . .
SET UP MENU (CONTINUED)

SHIFT LIGHT: Allows the setting of the shift light set point.
Use the red button (ENTER) to change values in
the range of 4500 to 9500 in steps of 50 RPM.
When done, press and hold green button (SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.

SENSOR TYPES: Allows the setting of M.A.P and throttle sensor types.
Use green button (SELECT) to select M.A.P or Throttle options, use red button (ENTER) to change type.
When done, press and hold green button (SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.

DISP. CONTRAST: Allows adjustment of the display contrast.
Use the red button (ENTER) to change the screen
contrast. When done, press and hold the green button
(SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the
same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.

USER OPTIONS: Two options are available which are selectable by
pressing the green button (SELECT).

1) M.A.P DATA READINGS
You can now choose to display this in PSI or BAR.
Use the red button (ENTER) to select the display type.

2) ALARM TEST
Use the red button (ENTER) to select OFF/ON.
When ON, during the power up cycle, the alarm output
will be tested for a few seconds. (recommended)
When OFF, this test will not be performed.

When all options are complete as required, press and hold the green button (SELECT) and then press the red button (ENTER) at the same time.
Release buttons when "saving" message appears.

EXIT SETUP: Returns back to monitoring mode.

ALSO - If you have a different MAP sensor on this car from the last one, that will need changing too
