Default XTR TURBO COVER - EXTERNAL WASTEGATE APPLICATIONS ONLY!

XTR Turbo cover:

Bought yesterday for £135+VAT and I must say this looks like a quality bit of kit.
Shame nobody told me that it is for external wastegate applications only!

Will fit T3/GT30/GT35/GT42R, T4 or TA45 Turbochargers.
Reduces under-bonnet temperatures created by Turbine Housings.
External Wastegate Applications Only

Did trial fit it so it isn't as clean as a brand new one. £130 + £5 p+p

Despite its not supposed to fit internal wastegate applications, I have managed to make it fit without it fouling on the actuator rod, so i'm going to keep it because it is a very well made product.

My advice to anyone that fits one is, wear gloves because it gives off what I think are glass fibres. These are hard to get out of your skin and itch and irritate your hands and arms like FOOK!

Wash your hands with soap (I mean real soap) this will help the fiber glass to get out of your skin, my dear...
Cool that u've been able to fit your cover this should also bring some (little) more power.

Cheers for the advice, but my hands are fine now. I was wearing gloves to start with but hate doing fiddly things wearing gloves.
