Just got back from EVO track/sprint Mr Shead was there PICS
Just got back from Haynes Motor Museum test track (it's only about 8 miles from my house)....an EVO track/sprint day organised by the MLR Forum.
Mark Shead was there, had a long chat with him about tuned Cossies and EVO's......very interesting
He took his Integra (DC5) on track and did a very good time 78.40 seconds - actually faster than some of the EVO's....and this was his first time on the circuit
One of his customers cars (Kev = T-27) - went very well:

It was soooo competitive, some peeps were trying VERY hard:
Mike Threlfalls car, he took FTD of 70.75........but braked a bit late on his next attempt and hit the tyre wall/armco:

Im truely amazed someone managed to beat Kev round that track in an Evo, i honestly didnt think there was another EVO in the country as quick and as well pedalled as his that would be suitable for such a tiny track, especially given that he has driven it before.

Chip, I went out in Dave C's Blue R-32 Golf (he was at the ring a couple of weeks ago when you were there)....he managed a very respectable 78.88......he was'nt trying too hard as he only drove this circuit once before quite a while back on a VW sprint day.
Cally went round the nurburgring in that a couple of times, she thought it was a pretty good car and that he seemed to be able to pedal it quite well, that time would indicate the same thing!
Not bad for a "sensible motor" by anyones standards!
