Default Deflex gearbox mountings mk2

Just fitted mine and OMG the car vibrates. Maybe I tightened them too much? Share your experiences here.

Mk2 uses one bolt that goes through both the craddle and the mount on the gearbox. I could show you, but there is no bloody search option here. It's bulletproof, but I think it gave too much vibration. Anyone else tried them?

which ones did you get mate, the black ones or the red ones?

I've got the red poly ones to go on at the mo, see how long they last before I go for the uprated set.

As stated in topic, this is mk2, the ones with the bolt that goes through the craddle and the gearbox mount. My bush is red, I've seen the same design with black bush. I'll try to loosen the bolt.

I'd show you, but no search, no game.

From Delfex, you need to order by phone.

I loosened the bolts and now the vibrations are goone when driving. There is a little more vibrations on tickover than with the worn original bushes, but you can't expect anything else since the engine is prehistoric.

So if you buy these, don't tighten them up real good, just make sure they are secure. Loosen them a little if the vibrations are too bad.

i've got em on mine, black main block with orange insert and they are sweet, tighten them up buy hand not air gun or the centre tube insert colapses, that splits the orange insert then they vibrate like mad.
