Default advanteges of going efi (s2)

all my m8s are telling me 2 change my series 2 to efi as it is easier 2 tune and wont have 2 worry about it leaning off top end but on the other hand ive been told efi managemnt is shit?
or is my best bet 2 run mfi with a 5th injector?
my enigne is an 1800 zvh low comp pistons lightend and balanced bottom end ported head with kent cam with scorpain exhuast with modded back box so it isnt restrictive and a driled air box with k&n replacement filter
cheers mart

Makes no odds what engine spec is to have different management

Efi =
better fuel economy, wont run rich at low range and then lean out at top
More tunable as said
Won't have to keep checking on it every 3 months
Gets rid of shonky metering head crap

Too bloody expensive

Seeing as you already have a Zetec bottom end, it makes the conversion much easier.

You could do a budget job with Fiesta Turbo bits, or go for the ultimate - DTA or similar engine management mapped to suit your engine.

Go the efi route if you know how, but avoid all OE managements.
