Series 2 engine bay earths, advice needed....
Where abouts are the main earth points in the series 2 engine bay?
Just been comparing my earths in my Astra GTE (dont boo!
) and mine are:
Alternator to Block
Gearbox to Chassis
Slam Panel to Battery
But on my bros RS, i couldnt see one from the Alternator?
Also, the main earth from the battery negative to the chassis seems really thin and flimsy. The standard one on my Astra is like double the width.
Could someone list where all the major earths are on the RS please?
Ta.

the main one runs down with the power cable to the starter and mounts with one of the starter bolts to the gearbox, there is the small one up next to the battery on the inner wing, one on the left of the rocker cover to o/s inner wing, and one down on the top of the gearbox to n/s inner wing
Cheers mate, ill check all them out to see if there still looking alright.
Would there be an advantage by beefing them up? I mean the one from the battery to the chassis looks well flimsy, and surely the others could do with a thicker cable?
Or am i chatting outa my backside?

the main one that runs down to the starter is quite substantial, still not as fat as the ribbon earth on the Vaux i know, if you have the cable knocking around cant do any harm beefing them up a bit
