mate - i dont know if them ones on ebay are genuine. there have been a lot of crap on there lately with people selling em off as genuine when in fact they are made up of inferior metals.
I personally would spend the extra and buy from a reputable trader and that way you know they are the real deal.
As for buying second hand valves, again IMO is it really worth the risk?

also the copys dont mean there shite, just means they dont last as long, if ya dont use ya car everyday the odds are the not genuine ones will dry up quicker
