My usual source of these gaskets has disapeared so where can i get one for a Cossie?

pj or woodford are the cheepest but burtons might be closer and have em instock

I need to replace mine, are they better then the standard ford item ie: are they less prone to leaks, and do you still use the standard half moons with it.

The Cometic ones are re-usable, seal better and don't fall to pieces and weld themselves to the head when you remove the cam cover like those paper things

got mine from woodford, 32 quid i think

taken cover off 3 times, no leaks

edited to add

only ever torqued to 13nm

my cometic rocker cover gasket leaks.

sealed for 1 k miles , got a good old cometic gasket, gona try that.
