Default will these rs wheels fit on my series 1??

There's loads in the pics & videos gallery mate....unfortunately the 'search' function had problems & has been removed, but look for posts by 'series1ajc' as he has just fitted some, well bout a month ago. There are also some others in one of my threads.

And you'll have to do some arch work for them to fit.

no, all 4 arches have been trimmed, with a 40mm drop and 205/40s,
still catch some times on full lock depending on speed

is it because they are 7.5 inches wide then?

wot if i went for a wheel that was 7x17 would they still catch?

Bit of both really. The arch lips need trimming off to stop the tyre whacking it on every bump. You will probably lose a bit of lock as well due to the width.

Mine don't catch on my S2, mind you maybe would with a car load, but never have more than 2 people. no arch mods, but I do have a little help with the rear springs Lowered 25mm on PI shocks and springs, do rub the front arch liners just on full lock, thats it tho really

dont really want to start trimming the arches to get these on....

surely someone has them fitted without any mods to the body??

they might not rub on -25mm springs, i thought about trying it.
but i like the look of the -40mm, plus it was cheaper that way

how much did you have to remove from the arch?

dont want to go to close to the rivets if i decide to buy these wheels...

i have 17s all four rub on 60 mill drop on my s1 any body recomend a good body shop ? dont trust the local ones!

the other existing rivets, its only a few at the top which were removed, and its siliconed on but no kit on at the mo due to rerspray so will prob
just bond it back on, aint too sure
