Hi Matt.

Don't get any brake fluid less than Dot 5, the minimum in a cossie, could get synthetic stuff but i don't think its worth the money and you have to change it more iirc.

Bit awkward to do on the cossie, you need a manual if you not done it before as you have to let the pump build up the pressure etc.. in the master cylinder.

better getting someone to do it who has ramps.

See ya soon Matt.

Castrol SRF is the gear you want. Mike R does it for a very good price

Bleeding is relatively straightforward if you follow the manual step-by-step

cossies are easy to bleed, especially the back as it uses the ABS pump to pressurise fluid to the back and it self-bleeds when you open the bleed nipple. Turn the ignition on to run the ABS pump and wedge the brake pedal on slightly - this pressurises the back system. Fronts are bled by conventional pedal pumping method, or 'easibleed' system that pressurises the reservoir.

Castrol SRF is competition grade fluid and it's DOT-4 so Dot number isn't that great. Also road car fluids are DOT-5.1 not DOT-5

Take it to Fords Matt, they do a full fluid change for £27. Saves the hassle if you break the nipples off, Ford will cahnge them.

Speak to you in a bit dude.
