Money talks. Of course you'll find an insurer, it'll cost you so fucking much it won't even be funny though. Good luck

i was 20 when i had my first. if u want a sensible quote these days u will need to have a limited milage policy, but then it is probably the best way to go.... do u have ne no claims

Yep limited mileage is the way to go. You tell them ya gonna do 12,000 miles a year in ya 400bhp 2wd Cosworth and the insurers will absolutely shit themselves!!!!

As a result they will fook ya over.

Whats more is the fact that most Cosworth owners probably dont even do 6-7,000 a year

What limited millage............bollox ! !

dont make no difference, well not with green light anyway. they would take 80 notes of the policy and if you go over the millage they will charge you the cost of a normal UNLIMITED policy. that was on 3000 miles a year.

Try norwich union online, they gave me a good quote on a 4x4 cos.. Wouldn't touch me on a 2wd though, probably for the best mind!

I had to do it in my dad's name when I was 19 for a 2wd with stage 5 mods declared. It cost about £350 a year with HIC though so it is worth considering

I could also be worth keeping a cheap run-a-round in your name just to build up ncb on.

Yep I had the cossie in my dads name last year for 300 quid and I was driving a 1.3 Fiesta Fully Comp for 400 quid which enabled me to drive my dads car ( the cossie ) on a third party basis...fookin hell of a risk though cause if ya park ya 2wd cos in a wall with 15 grands worth of tackle on ya get fook all!!

So get fully comp in your own name as soon as you can then you can drive like a twat and ya covered
