Ooh! I do like red! This is my rolling shell coming along. Coilovers, big brakes and poly bushes soon. One of these days I'll even get an engine in it! What does everyone think? PS The Morrette covers and front grille are away being painted that's why it's got no front lights.

Thanks guys. The shell came from one of the Traders on here. It was a full car but the trader bought it and sold the engine and I bought the shell. I already had the leather trim, Rondells, Morettes etc from another car so it's got a good start. The shell was a brand new one which had been used to shell a crashed Escort Cossie and it's all DVLA receipted etc. Should be nice when it's finished. I lurv red. The paint isn't quite as good as it looks in these pics in the odd place but it will be when I've finished with it!
For most peeps, this is the least inexpensive way to get into Escort Cossie ownership...as you can do it all in piecemeal, even if the price in the end equals or exceeds the car used. Plus YOU choose the spec from the very beginning (no trading cloth seats for leather, etc.)
Your method is similar to what I did, mate. Check out my website!
You should be well-chuffed. That's a gorgeous car, that! Please keep posting piccys

Paul, yes it did indeed.
Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, I'm doing it as I can afford it and I've got a 4x4 Sapphie as well so I'm still able to play this year.
Hi Adam, how are you mate? Yes, anyone that knows me knows it'll be mega mint when it's finished.

Yes, I'm okay Adam. Your car looks fantastic. My Escort looks shiny but I'm at the 'Take anything off the car to check it and it falls apart in your hand' stage. It'll be a long road to mintiness but we'll get there. Looks like you're already there mate.
Trev, wouldn't mind showing it next year, but that is in a dream world, probably not the reality!
Still, got her on a few little spots this year, my local regional days and hopefully rsoc national day and ford fair. Should be joining in on the S2 parade lap @ national day too
Will we see any of your cars there?

I'll be coming to some of the shows in my Sapph, but it's not a show quality car really, it is nice though, and the engine is sweet as a nut.
