The manifold costs around Ł600 depending on application, it was made by a company called powerspeed based in ashford in kent ive got a number for them if anyone is interested. As for the gearbox it is a mtx75 casing with series 2 lsd and uprated internals done by a company called gear torque and costed a fortune!! but was guaranteed to take 300bhp.

pacificzetecturbo,

How you doing dude motors looking wicked

The gearbox in the pic is not a MTX75 tho as far as i can see. It looks like the mk6 escort diesel box Also the internals from a MTX wont fit in that box or vice versa and an MTX has no bolt fixings on the casing

Regards
Jano

Well im only going on what i was advised by from a well known tuner in essex that it will not make over about 260-270bhp on the std manifold and that the best route to take to get more power would be to get a tubular manifold. Im sure people will have mixed opinions on this but hey its different aint it.

Also the gearbox i am led to belive is a mk5 escort casing what ever numbers ford gave them i dont know, i phoned up for a gearbox to take 300bhp, handed over some cash and thats what i got.

I got the block, steel rods and motorsport pistons all brand new for a very good knocked down price.

Brand new from Mountune you will pay in the region of 5k for this in parts, but i didnt even pay a quarter of that for it Somebody had it all needed money desperatly and there I was needing an engine was in the right place at the right time

It was the price of the engine build that got me
