Default FAO Builders etc... finishing breeze blocks

Guys

The garage is made with breeze blocks and the outside plastered I guess...

inside however is still breezeblock

what can i paint it with to brighten it up a little?

or as a lot of it is quite rough... can i cover it with any subsatnce other than plastering inside??

cheers

Dave

LOL, I was trying to help as there wasn't that many replies when I started to search for an accurate answer - how many houses you decorate that have breezeblocks exposed then? Wallpapering them must be a right b'stard

Nothing wrong with that Ben..........I'd be more worried about him if he spent most of his time scratching someone else's bollocks

Dave have you still got the saph shell , and any cheap paint will do but
masonary paint is harder wearing easer to clean oily handprints off

thats slightly true tiny about oily hand prints
but you will find once you start wiping the walls down it will become dirty anyway, and then the only way to clean it up again is to paint it

one thing dave i wouldn't really use cheapo paint,,go to a trade shop like brewers and get there albany brand ( we call this cheapo paint, but its not like cheapo shite from b&q's)

I started painting my garage wall (breeze blocks) a couple weeks ago & gave up after 30 mins as was using a roller & white emulsion, it was very hard work to try & get it in all the air holes. TBH i think spraying it would be far easier, a roller is too much hard work Because mine is half painted it looks terrible Any spare time iv'e got i'd rather be out driving the cossie

Simon.
