2.9 XR4x4 (hatchback) is quoted at 1290kg kerbweight

According to the UK Construction and Use Regulations 1986, kerbweight is the "weight of the vehicle as it leaves the manufacturer with full fuel, adequate lubricants and water, standard tools and equipment but no driver, occupants or load".

Mark, the 1290kg is for XR4x4
I agree with Doug, the figure I've seen officially quoted for 4x4 Saph is 1280kg..

not saying these are neccesarily actually correct in 'real world' terms, but they are the published kerbweight figures.

have you tried lifting a 200 block? mine was a tt though so probably a bit heavier than standard.my mate did this with an xr2 and managed to take 85kilos out of it before putting two bucket seats in it.so you might get 140-160kilos out of a cos.my power to weight was 180 bhp?ton with 260bhp.so to crack 200 per ton you might need about 300bhp to start with?
