He's a mecanic or somet from talking to him round at Karls and its just his project type thing his boss lets him work on when he aint doing other stuff

Manifold is a 2wd with bits welded on and the engine is pretty much standard I think.

Very very nice lad, was quite worried it wasn't worth the hassle putting the GT blower on, I was well pleased for him when I saw him at Central day as all his hard work payed off.

1st launch i saw was spot-on and was a sub 11 run
The 2nd one he got a real tank slapper on just after the lights and had to shut it down

 

ahhhh right i see. Think i missed that one. Must have been queing or soemthing. Was a good car to watch though.

 

Safe to say i shit myself on that run ,1st gear was ok wacked it into 2nd and fooking hell big time out of shape .

T5's do last well if the cars got grip, its the vibrations cause from wheelspin that breaks then I think, I never had a prob on mine and I know Mick Roger's ran a number of 10.5's on a stock T5, also rememeber Davi's escort is a little lighter than the average saph or 3door. Anyway its great to see how davi's car has developed since it first came out in the SRS series.

have fitted your old injector's and chip in mine now, car feel's realy good
deffo faster but more trip's to the petrol station

No not really , its 7.2.1 comp, ported head,secret cams ,gt30 on modified 2wd manifold,1000cc injectors, L8 ecu with nms map,2 bar boost,small turbo inlet.
