Default Best clutch for saff 4x4

a mate of mine, asked me if I could ask the board in here, bout a clutch for his saff 4x4??

he would like to avoid the paddle clutch???

the car is running bout 330bhp... so what is the best choice??

hi mate im running around 340bhp on my 4x4 at the mo just had it done and the clutch that was on it lasted abt 300 miles!!! having a alcon 6 paddle fitted tomorrow there isnt really any thing else you can do i did a lot of asking around and everyone said i needed a paddle or i would be wasting my money apparently the alcon has a nicer pedal i hope so anyway!!!!!

My car is also running +- 330BHP...

I've got an AP Racing clutch

And, its fine

its not the bhp figures that count when rating a clutch, the torque is what kills them, Helix do a very good organic clutch, but above 250lbft a paddle is best

Also the man behind the wheel ! If you are driving hard, that will kill it very fast, but if you are smooth, that's ok. Easy to say, hard to do, but eh that's it !
