What's spa boxing mate? You mean plain old boxing or...?

Used to box as well but switched to Muay thai wich suits me better due to my height and weight.
Boxing is the more difficult sport I'd say but Muay thai is deffo tougher and more effective in the pub

Yeah it's miles better for staying strong and fit than running and fitnesstraining in a gym! I used to en oy boxing very much Muay thai suits me better as I'm 6.4"and weigh 82 kilo's so for me it's easy to kick and knee people

We are being trained by a 68-year old who's been training people (loads of worldchamps and the likes) for over 40 years and it's done the hard way: he's got a bamboo-sword wich he calls his little friend and if you don't pay attention or aren't trying hard enough he hit's you over the head or on your legs with it

Got a broken wrist right now, broke my foot before and broke a rib also

You get used to 'pain' very quickly as it's just a mental thing you have to get through, I'm training 3 day's a week now with a broken wrist, I just jab lots with my left and keep my right at my chin
For me muay thai is about getting the most out of myself and pushing my own limits so I tend to look at my handicap (3 months of plastercast) as a sort of a blessing for if I can survive with just my left I'll be doing allright for myself!

What's Wado Ryu mate?

Did a course in 'special force' for wich you needed a police statement that you were not a criminal lol
Basicly very simple and effective way's of fighting of multiple attackers, people with knives and so on.

I never pick fights and if someone would with me I'd rather walk off than risk hospital or jail over a spilled pint

How true is that, you can be hard as nails yet a 6st stick could kill you with a pull of a trigger pmsl

i used to be an amateur boxer but hated it cos i was always fighting people younger/smaller due to my weight and felt guilty for winning on KO`s.
Also hated it due to my eyes streaming really bad when smacked in the nose LOL
my front 6 teeth have chunks missing or chipped to fuk, and turned black where the bits have been broken, i look like a right tramp when i smile IMO

other than that i loved boxing, especially the hard training

i know what you mean, i would only do it as a hobby and a bit of fun but
would not do it to the extent of getting in to a ring and risking getting
hurt! i know that sound's a bit

Cool! Quite a few of you then!

Now that is really cool Marco! I'm always impressed with girls that get into these sorta things, I train a girl regulary and she's a tough coockie as well, love it!

Errmm...you shouldn't get in the ring with the idea of getting yer nose bust, you should get in the ring with the idea of busting your opponents nose lol

It's funny: almost every man thinks he knows how to drive and how to fight and most of them don't when it comes down to it heehee! Always funny to see first-timers trying to impress with their tv-learned fighting skills

Girls (over 18 Marco, no worries) that box are soooo sexy...
