Anything over 100 is " supposed " to be an automatic ban , he will have to have extenuating circumstances to get out of it though

 

If he can kiss the magistrates ringpiece well enough then he might make it out with his own in one piece, but its unlikely.

could easily get 3 months if he gets unlucky, might just get 6 points if he is very very lucky.

Same as my mate (webbhoy off here), he got 6 points and 250quid fine told em he travelled to work 60 mile a day, and that he regretted his actions blah blah!!

I came out with some bullshit story that I was test driving the car, because we had just fitted a new type of engine management system, that made the engine more efficient, and that I could revolutionize old Mechanically fuel injected cars! haha!

Little did they know I used to do 10 miles to the gallon!!!

 

Guy in the pub was racing me back from Silverstone after Trac last year. I saw plod with the van and hit the anchors. He didn't and was nabbed at 103mph. He got 3 points a £150 fine and was told to attend a speed awareness course

 

If its the bottom end of the M6 ie:up to around junction 3 that's exactly where I got caught doing 104mph. I had to attend court in Loughborough and with a lot of ass-kissing and using my job as an excuse I just (and I really do mean just) managed to escape with 6 points and £200 fine.

They had actually decided to ban me, but changed their minds at the last min. I would tell your boss to expect a ban, then anything less is a bonus.

I certainly didnt get off lightly tho, my insurance doubled because all 6 points were issued in one go, apparently if you get 2 lots of 3 points its not seen as being as bad

 

a few years ago my mate got done for 105 mph and he got 6 points and 80 quid fine.

week after i got done for 104 moh and got 6 points and 120 quid - couldnt blag as well as my mate

then a week after that another mate gets done for 103mph and gets 6 points and a fine.

We were all student scummers then so i think we got let off lightly.

I know someone who just got done for 103mph on a bypass, Judge gave him a choice based on his income £1000 fine and 6 points or 3 points £60 5 hours driver training guess what he took

i got done for 105.7mph 3 years ago in august and got 6 points and a £600 fine

i was told that the automatic ban is more like 110mph not 100

i got that one too except i hit 80mph

got charged with dangerous driving and was looking at a minimum of 12 month ban then it got brought down to careless driving and i got a 42day ban and 200 quid fine, no points.

 

Dangerous driving, sheit It was out in the middle of no-where at 11 at night aswell, not like I was drivin past a school at 3:00. Fookin better not be that, me insurance is killer enough already!!!!!!!!

 

mine was at lunchtime in a battered old saab turbo with no brakes. I had undercover coppers behind me videoing it and i had just cut them up on the roundabout due to no brakes

told me 3 times "you're going to court" and I was like "I heard you the first fookin time"

 

Superb, I'm still waitin for the letter to get here through the post, so I'll know what I'm up for then, gonna try an bribe the judge, or threaten him if he stiches me up

 

My mate got clocked doing 132mph on M25 at 1am. He done some good ass licking which aint his way and said he needed it for his job. Got 6wk ban and £60 fine

It wouldn't surprise me if you insurance company cancelled on you, as a ban is a big no-no . Just ask Christian how difficult it was for him to get anyone to insure him for sensible money .

Mike, don't think I need to inform my insurance company of such a little, insignificant hitch. A month ban isn't gonna stop me from doin my 5k limit.

 

Mate of mine got caught 149 in a 60 on a Blade he had just seen a police bike going the other way who had flased his light at him. thinking he is going to come after me opened it up to 150 only to see a speed camera van parked on the side of the road. 15 mins later 3 police cars turn up at the local bikers meeting place find his bike and asks for the owner. they tell him he has been clocked at 149 and does he have anything to say "NO "gives him a lecture anything to say "NO" third time anything to say "YES" ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF" they read it out in court 1 year ban test resit 100 hours community sevice.
