Default Harrier identity

How can you tell the true identity of a harrier because i have been told that some say 1600 sport and some say harrier on the log book. Is there any other way of telling?

The Harrier I had said 1600 Sport on the log book, and had plate on slam panel with Harrier stamped on it. Wish I'd never sold it now, want another one but a silver one this time.

never got round to using mine, bought it off local ford dealer who'd had it in a private collection for 9yrs, sat in my garage for another 5yrs, never got round to sortin it. It'd only done 40miles in those 14yrs!

as above, but the harrier has a bracket on the top of the chassis on the spare wheel side for the strap to hold the spare wheel in , the sport has a bracket on the inside of the wheel well, all the rs mk2 models have them aswell
