Default Noise from front of 4x4 by engine

Hi.
My 4x4 saph has done around 130k and internally it’s very good.
but there’s a very annoying noise developed from the front of the engine and I’m thinking it’s in the sump.
did done checks today. Removed the auxiliary belt and the noise remains so it’s coming from inside the engine.
i have bought a stethoscope which will be here tomorrow so I’ll have another listen when I get that but by using a bar I’d say it’s the front offside is loudest.
its a light tap which isn’t there from cold and goes away when revved but returns when idling.
oil has just been changed with millers oil.
unable to check oil pressure as I have been waiting 3 weeks on a sandwich plate with gauge ports to come but I think it has good pressure.
Dong think it’s ever been apart prior to my ownership as I had the head off to repair a snapped stud and head was std thickness.

no, but I have isolated the noise to the auxiliary shaft/oil punk/distributor area.
currently hunting down the overfuelling issue before pulling the pulleys and belt off to get into it.
hoping it’s the aux shaft thrust plate as there is some in/out play on it.
