ST170 front suspension
The front left suspension on my ST170 makes a clonking noise on turning, suggesting either a broken spring or knackered top mount bearing.
Now considering replacing either individual part would still require removal of the strut anyway, would it be just as easy to replace the entire upright with a full assembly, as presumably the labour cost would still be the same? Obviously both sides would need doing at the same time.
Also, if I'm sourcing the uprights myself, are the ST170 springs different to normal MK1 springs, as in lowered
