Default Sierra door lock

Hi my 92 ford sierra has been sitting about a while in storage, now when I lock the car with the key you can't remove the key. The car is locking all doors but you can't remove the key. When you unlock it the key comes out again. When locked from passengers side the key comes out OK.
Before I start stripping it down incase i dont need to has anyone had this problem before. Is it likely to be the door lock or solenoid not letting it turn just fully or something or is their adjustment in rods or anything.

Possibly the pins in the lock tumbler sticking, try oil or WD in the lock.

I think your right. I've tried wd40 and I can now get the key out if I work the key a bit. It does feel like inside it not quite lining up.
