Default Locked out.

Hello. Really need some help here as im lost and dont no what to do.

I have a 03 transit connect, i went outside this morning and my key will not unlock my doors. I went to a locksmith and he told me that my key was worn and needed to buy a new one from him, which i did.

That key also does not unlock my doors. The original key does unlock my back doors though, but my handle is broke. I literally have no way of getting in my van

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas other than smashing my windows.

Cheers for any help.

try lubricating the front locks , ,stiffness may be the reason for worn key
or view a handle that isn`t broke , say on ebay ,
and construct a bent wire open rear climb through , open front ,
remove drivers door lock ,obtain a working drivers door lock, with key

how did he cut the new key? did he use a key reader then guess which cuts were closest to account for your key being worn. or did he have data available to cut the key by code??

If its not double locked, use a soft wood wedge and a coat hanger to get in at the top of the door frame.

I tried with wd40 after reading some forums, i dont get what you mean with the wire for back door. The handle is on it just has no tention (really loose).

Yes his words were "this is really worn i will have to do it by eye" he has told me since to take it back so he can retry.

I will try the wooden wedge one in the morning thankyou. If that works i will just buy whole new lock set.

Any other help would be amazing. Thankyou

the little tag is broken on the rear handle,
I would remove it by whatever means and attempt to hook the latch inside

Try jiggling when turning the key it may work..
Or call out an auto locksmith they will get it sorted and cheaper than new locks...
