Default 2.0 Dohc low oil pressure warm idle

Hey guys,

I have a frustrated problem with my 2.0 dohc sierra.

The problem is basically low pressure when engine is warm and oil pressure light is turning on at idle. Idle is 900-1000rpm. Light turns off at upper rpms.

At the begining oil light turns on at idle when warm and after few days it started turning on while driving high rpms. I remove the oil pick up tube its completely blocked with dirt and seal parts. And i remove oil pump and it looks fine. I cleaned tube and oil sump. But it's same again. Oil light comes on when engine is warm.

So we took apart the engine. Crankshaft and bearings are completely worn. I bought a used crankshaft that rebuild 0.25. We rebuild the engine with new 0.25 bearings, new piston rings and new seals. We had rebuilded cylinder head fews months ago before this problem.

AFter rebuild we started engine everything looks fine, no tappet sound, no rattling noise etc. Oil comes to upper the engine fine. But it starts turning on oil light when it's warm at idle. We tried new oil pressure sensor again it's same.

We installed oil gauge. At cold start oil pressure is about 4bar at idle, high rpms its about 6-7bar. But it lowers to 2bar-1bar while engine getting warmer. At operating temp it drops to 0 bar.

We changed the oil pump from another engine which has no problem. But same problem with this oil pump. It drops 0 bar at idle when it's warm. At 1.500rpm it's 1bar. But at 0 bar oil is squirting from oil cap when i opened.

We really don't understand where is the problem at. I used 5w30 and 10w40 oil. But same problem...

Here is the video from my car. I removed stock pressure sensor and installed gauges sensor. Red light turns on same with stock one.

it does up oil pressure the better brands like lucus etc are designed for race engines so these do work very well i used it before that should see your oil pressure rise in cold and hot conditions

Sure these will do work but i need to know what is wrong with my engine. I rebuild whole engine why still oil pressure is low when its warm.
