Hi guys where is the best place to get a custom kit made? IE bumpers, spoiler ect

 

Hi these days i have no idea but if its 1 off stuff you want it will run to big money as to do stuff prop u need to take molds off everything so at a guess bumpers spoiler etc i bet bill will be 1500/2000

 

You have not said for which car you want the custom kit, I presume it is for an RS Turbo? Have you checked to see if there any places that already have body kits etc available off the shelf? As Lee has said to have one off custom made parts will be very expensive.

 

So the kit I would like to get is an RS1700T kit for an rs turbo. I know getting a mould done for one of them will be hard going unless there is one around

 

You should try rally cross places etc for kit... even if you find a kit needing alot of work would still be cheaper then someone trying to make one like.. im sure you will find a kit if you look hard enough

The only problem is that company does not ship products to the UK. Looks like a perfect kit but only for non UK residents.

 

They do ship to UK and EU countries but just slow a longer time. How different are the MK3 to the MK4???

 

Not really. Technically mostly the same. You'll find the most differences in the interior and the design of the front of the car.

 

I just read the part which said it does not ship to customers outside the EU. Although it does also say they ship to the UK. Looks like it could be the perfect kit that the guy wants.

 

Ye it's me that wants on mate. I've always loved the look of the 1700t.

IN relation to installing a kit made for a MK3 mate. That's providing I can find one

 

Like I said, mostly the same. But there are some small differences, the MK3/MK4 specialists will know. Just be patient.
