Hi fella's new to group, will a diesel duratec manual flywheel manual fit a blacktop zetec , thanks

 

Hi why would you want to?

 

I would highly doubt a flywheel from a diesel engine would fit onto another totally different engine.

 

i was waitn on him replyn as if he is fitting zetec in rwd or what ever there are a few u can use to do this but a diesel one will be heavy id of thought and if its newer type diesel may even be duel mass type thing..

 

Thanks fella's manual flywheels are hard to come by in Australia , also is an auto ring gear the same diameter as a manual flywheel just for mock up starter motor so I can bench test this motor . Yes I can get one of the UK
Postage and the £ to OZ $ are a killer for us

 

If you are referring to auto/manual from the same engine, then most probably yes.

if from different engines....then it's a guessing game.

Then I would expect a flex plate for that to be the same, and equally important same tooth pitch as well.
