A 10.35 litre big block Chevy V8, no turbo or supercharger just 12-1 compression ratio, run on pump fuel for 1004 hp, 876ftlb of torque, all for 29000 dollars in the states 😮

That's the thing mate 1000 hp and reliable it's not a huge amount of money for what you get

So nice to see Chevrolet are still producing a mega power V8 petrol engine!!! All that performance with no turbo or supercharger!!!! Give me that in a suitable car anytime over an electric powered car!!!! I reckon it will be a big seller. It is Ł21,341 so really very good value for money.

I've seen prices quoted a lot higher than that, although that's maybe including a transmission.

If you used a more compact intake, it would be a lot more versatile.

 

So really, not a great price for such power. You can even put on a tractor. It's a joke, of course, but if you apply ecoboost performance mods to it, you can feel frugal and plan your budget calmly. But I would rather buy this engine in case of great need

 

I wonder if that would fit my 7.5 ton lorry….it needs a bit more poke.
