Does anyone know if it’s possible to bypass the immobiliser on a 2008 fiesta st? I’m wanting to get rid of the ignition barrel and all that side of things and just have switches and push button start.
It’s for a track car so the security side of things isn’t an issue

If you want a starter button , you can wire it into the standard loom, just bypass the ignition loom, same goes for an ignition switch, how I did it in my old Mk2 VR6 Golf.
Ideally wire the starter through a relay so it doesn't biurn the button out, I used a Longacre button ffrom DT IIRC. If you keep the steering lock and key it gives a bit of security but if you want to get rid of the stock ignition barrell you can justtape the key to the pats ring.....
