iv got a series 2 rs turbo,i know the privious owner had the engine rebuilt a few years ago.it chiped wiv a pace intercooler and a stage 2 hybrid.i want 2 take the car up 2 at least 200bhp,whats the best mods 2 go for and will it be reliable wiv the bottom end i have.i have around £800 to spend.

 

What chip is it?? What boost does it run?

You will ideally need a better Intercooler and a Stage 3 Turbo to move on with the car. It will then need a good set-up.

A Piper 285T2 would be a good mod too.

 

get a big grs/pro alloy, cam,and a boost rise and a setup might get it close to 200bhp if not over that

 

A new zorst will help raise bhp to if ya aint got 1

 

and a decent head gasket

 

.i duno what chip it is but its running about 17psi. also some one said it would be worth getting sum ARP studs 2 hold the bottom end together.would i need these. what about a charge cooler r these better than the large front mount intercoolers.also would it b worth getting a better head. thanks 4 ur help.

 

iim sure evry1 will say do this do that but ideally u need 2 get urself dwn 2 a gud tuner hu can guide u properly and check the condition of ur engine out etc before anything gets done
