Sticky piston causing wobble.... Any recommendations for refurb?
Ideally smaller independent rather than brembo themselves.....

You don't appreciate just how big these fuckers actually are until they're in your hand....

 

Big red have replied within the hour with a quote for 425 to refurb both 6 pot calipers and refinish in a different colour... Quick response and reasonable price.....might as well get the 4 piston rears done at the same time ... I'll add the after pics when I get them back... .

 

Got them back..... Got to say they are excellent..... As good as new and probably the best wrapped parcel I've ever received....


Got all 4 done for 800 quid.... Complete rebuild, strip, sandblast, primer, top coat and lacquer with all new pistons, seals and bleed nipples..... Excellent job....

Bonus was I thought it was 820 plus vat but it was 820 all in... Plus they knocked 50 quid of for a little time overrun...
Communication was good right from the first enquiry and the quality of the finish is excellent so worth a call if your looking for a brake refurb....

 

They look great and I’m sure they will work perfectly and realistic prices.
I rate them very highly after they done mine, they are the best they have ever been.

 

They are stunning.... The ex missus and daughter wasn't impressed but the guys in the garage all gathered around them like woman around a newborn baby....
I pick my bronze wheels up tomorrow so more pics to be added later......
Now the cars nearly done I think I'll book a spot at knockhill track day on 9th May....

Yes bigg red, they don't do painting on its own, it has to be a complete rebuild with new pistons and seals.
