Does any body know if you can run a 1989 Cosworth on unleaded petrol, Fords say they don't know.

Thanks for the info. The hand book says 97 octane (4 star) only. Asked Fords (who else) and as I said, they didn't know.

Unleaded wasn't common place at all in 89 so the handbook is just a sign of the time making reference to 4star
