Mk2 focus 1.8 diesel to 1.6 petrol from mk1

Mk2 focus 1.8 diesel to 1.6 petrol from mk1
Hi all,
I currently have a 1.8tdci mk2 focus and have a 1.6 petrol mk1 focus as a “donor” car, will the whole front suspension subframe struts engine gearbox with the 1.6 loom and everything fit or is it different from mk1 to mk2? Are there any other problems I would need to worry about like gear cables? Or subframe mounts.

To be honest it would be easier to get shot of both cars and just buy a 1.6 16v petrol.
Me and the Mrs own a mk2.5 1.6 16v petrol and to be honest its flat as a fart.
It would be interesting if you could swap the engines over but no doubt it won't be that easy. The wifes focus has fly by wire throttle,no throttle cable.
