Default Help Finding an old car!! Red Escort cosworth cabriolet picture attached

Hello,

I am trying to locate a Red ford escort cosworth Cabriolet my dad used to own when I was a kid. The only thing I have is a magazine feature it was featured in. Back in the 90s and still to this day it would be a car that stands out.

I have done all the reg checks etc and the car is sorn not insured but the last log book was issued 05 dec 2011.

The car was unique car back in the day and I cant find any information on the car on forums google etc...

I'll post the picture I have and hopefully someone can help.

Thanks again

Was it not a Gartrac conversion with their wide arch panels too.

Was reading about this recently in a early 90’s performance ford magazine. It was built for a business man with all new parts including a new crate rs500 engine, just after its first mot it got stolen and was found as a bare shell. 2 brothers who had lots of cool Cosworth powered cars rebuilt it, think this was them who had it featured in fast ford.
