Default Cossie plenum spacer

Hi all

when fitting a 10mm plenum spacer does it affect how the fuel rail bolts up as i’d imagine it means it will be 10mm further away from the injectors? Using an anembo billet rail on a hart plenum.

thanks.

It would seem totally pointless.

I had one on Rods older spec Not needed under 700hp. Above it on a larger capacity engine the larger volume plenum helps with power.

I did wonder if it might be a big power thing.

Reason I ask is to fix my fuck up I made lol, the o-ring Grove on the flange had a small crack and the face was generally pitted ect so me in my wisdom decided to grip it in the mill at work and machine the flange to remove the groove and clean it up ect.....didn’t realise till I got home that there is a small lip that needs to be a certain thickness for the trumpet section to locate into, now it’s too shallow and the trumpet section bottoms out before closing the gap. So I figured a spacer would fix this, not bother about performance gains.

The volume on the Jenvey doesn’t need a spacer now.

I guess that could weaken it and who knows how the flow could change- may as well fit the spacer.

thanks.
If the thickness of the fuel rail lugs on the plenum are still 10mm thick you might be able to simply mount the fuel rail on the other side of the lugs?
