That was some good crack when he was on here used to make me chuckle
Crazy when I think back how quiet it is now on here compared to how it used to be, seems folk surf and don't post nowadays
What happened to mo with his hypercar beating escort is he still thrashing lambos
tbh mate i moved on.. the only rs turbo i do still have a standard s1 turbo. its complete standard just got the rims etc to rs7 diamond cuts etc.. i moved on.. bought a few other cars now.. i have a 400hp saff.. a 380bhp 3dr cossie.. and im in the process of buying a standard 500. i did at one point own a r33 gtr too.. still got my e46 m3 and i bought a e30 m3 too which is completely standard.. i can still say though.. none of these cars were savage like my rs turbo... i wish i still had it... but it is what it is... my 3dr cossie is quite quick but i cant control it properly when on full boost.. being honest.. handfull.. its on 2 bar boost..needs 2 lanes when launching... i did have a evo too but couldnt bloody put up with how slow it was!! the plan now is to get this 500.. sell it on and buy a escort cossie.. big power one... that will then be my mess around car as its 4wd..trip to msd will sort it out...
Don't need photobucket anymore mo, just click image picture above and you can add pictures direct from device
cant get it to work mate.. ill try again tomorow off my phone. noticed you bought rods cossie. . fair play to you .. couldnt have gone to a better person. Still got the gtr?

Yes mate still got the gtr it's stored away now
Rods saph is very close to being done and can come home, got an RS6 as my daily, a 1959 Humber hawk with BBC in it but the most extreme one is the gtr that is on the way
1326 whp gtr it's quite a jump up in power to weight than anything else I've ever had before, approx 850 hp per tonne

fair play mate. i do like the GTR S,the rs6 is a nice performance beast. i raced my mates one when i had the gtr.. all fun till the rs6 blew the rear diff.. lol.. dont push it too hard on a launch.. it wont hack it for long if its tuned. i did like your r33 gtr.. i bought a midnight purple one.. 440 ish hp wasnt too quick to be honest.. untill it got played with by mgt racing..and about 550bhp.then i found it was starting to rot.. so sold it to my mate who still has it.. if ever i buy a r33 now it would have to be with a sequential upgrade.. the gearboxes are big money for them . .the r35 is definately quicker on the gear changes.. makes a big difference.. i did see a 900ish one with a os giken box etc got tempted with it but i think ill put my money into the 500 to sell on.. i would love to have a 4wd cossied series one.. as im a ford man in heart.. after i sold my series 2 ..i bought and sold some quick ish cars. the only car i would now be buying to keep is a escort cosworth.. and the 3dr i have now ill never be selling.
do you come out on nights mate for some fun.. let me know if you do.. my mates take out their GTR S and sometimes the cars we come across .. makes it all exciting .. also have a look at this video.. shows what some set ups on the road.. just dont work lol
That white r33 isn't 670 hp no way lol
the r35 will spank it on the shifts but it's falling miles behind long after the shift, I have zero interest in street racing mate I'm in my 40s not 20s lol
The gtr is by far the best performance car I've ever had
And my RS6 is a c7 fairly new one, 690 hp, 1000 nm of torque, I've done several thousand miles in it of some hard use and not a single failure
I think you might be looking at an older one as they had driveline failures once tuned, c7s are very strong
My RS6
62-124 mph 100-200 kph 6.5 seconds, and sport mode nail it with no launch 0-100 mph 7.5 seconds
And all done in complete comfort as an all round package by far RS6 best car I've ever had, not as good as a gtr at going fast but it's very close and RS6 miles better at everything else

I remember mo from back in the day, wasnt the rs turbo a good 300bhp? And wasnt the lambo in question an early gallardo? Funny thing is for all the stick some people gave him back in the day about it, if you think about it im sure the rs turbo would keep up no problem, ive driven a couple of those early gallardos and they really arent that fast at all, barely felt much quicker than an e46 m3 from memory. There about 500hp but 1500 kgs and 4wd. Rs turbo about 1000 kgs.
the forum was so busy back then
not familiar with the lambo Gallardo so I googled some specs.....from 2003 to 2013 the slowest is listed on parkers specs at 0-60 in 3,9 seconds and the quickest 3.3 seconds ....im not buying into it.....

hi mate haha yes it was just under 300 on the set up i had.. was 328hp on a t4 turbo i ran.. then in the end changed everything.. and it then made 340 and that wasnt even on full boost.. ran omex.. quaiffe atb etc..alot of people said oh it cant be that quickc etc... alot tried to give it stick on here.. but at the end of the day i took the car to a ford classic day.. ran my first few runs and came home with a 13.1 at 118mph.. before i sold it it ran a 12.8 or 12.9 at 122mph. my mate has a showroom and sells cars.. i raced the lambo rolling from 30-40 mph onwards.. if i had raced it off a set of lights then maybe the outcome would have been different.. power to weight ratio was good and to be honest some of the cars i smoked in it.. i was suprised.. even now i have some proper quick cars now but the rs turbo.. had that raw power.. once rolling on a dual carriage way the car was so light and fast... alot of people tell me how fast an e46 m3 is.. i say .. i got one .. and it aint as fast as people make out.. not quick at all.. but its a nice car with some power to drive.. more of a poser car

lol nobody said we raced off a set of lights.. the gtr i had that i sold to my mate would have smoked the slow lambo even off a set of lights any way, when i had it mapped from mgt racing it was at 550bhp and that wasnt even on full potential as we kept it at safe power. i moved on to different cars now but i still stand by the rs turbo.. even with the cars i own now.. the rs turbo was a quick car.. once rolling it was savage. . as long as you can properly drive it.. big balls needed... lol i see alot of rs turbo owners.. they dont tend to push the car to its absolute limit.. parts are worth alot now.. i have a few videos of it even now.. side by side next to a evo 9.. and a subaru p1. and a 400bhp r32 gtr.. would have posted it up if you couldnt see my reg.. racing from 40mph some very very high speeds... lol on a private road of course.. lmao alot of people sit at home and read the parkers spec times.. on a road its a different story.. comes down to so many things.. even a shit driver for example in a r35 on a straight line can drive it quick with them paddle shifters.. put the same person into a rs turbo with savage power..then see how much of a good driver he is... even put him into a rear wheel drive cossie.. then see if he can drive.. lol

hes rs6 is a 14 plate mate so same as yours..c7 trust me it can blow the diff if you give it some proper stick a good few times. Before that he had the c6 rs4 at 650hp by mrc.. that was a quick car too. I have some videos racing it in my GTR.. when he blew the diff he was doing a launch after many launches.. i took off, looked in my mirror and it was still at the lights. Then he said yes diff gone.. he was quite suprised.. but apparently a few people he spoke to said the same thing..i think its a stunning car..with bags of power..nice place to be in when driving one.. and the performance is amazing.. it gets on to the power so quickly..i would consider putting up all the videos on youtube if i can block the cars registrations tbh.be interesting to see what people say on comparing them.
You've certainly built up a nice collection of cars mo fair play to ya mate, I tip my hat
cheers mate. you done well too mate.. fair play to you. i bought the gtr.. after seeing your r33 doing them good times lol.. beast of a car always liked it.. supra was nice back then too.. but the gtr was lovely. . and the r35 ..them are untouchable at big power. no delay in shifting gears too.. they dont hang about. . monster of a car
scoobyslayer you was right mate..sorry just spoke to him in whatsapp . . we thought diff blew etc.. i didnt ask him about it.. but when it went in to get fixed he said it turned out to be driveshaft.. a week before the car did about 6 runs at santa pod. so yeah your right

R33 30-130 mph 9.7 seconds 710 hp, supra 30-130 mph 8.8 seconds 800 hp, gtr 30-130 mph 6.2 seconds 960 hp

I'm hopeing the Cossie will beat the supras 8.8, and if green gtr doesn't beat the 6.2 I will sell it and get the old one back out lol
