Hi my 1991 Ford Sierra Ghia never came with headlight wiper motors fitted (Spanish model) so I want to build a loom to safely use a set of working headlamp motors I have for the car.
does anyone have photos or clear and exact loom build instructions (including correct grade of wiring - thickness/voltage requirements etc) and where the looms need to connect to.
i would rather do a clean loom build rather than chopping the current headlight wiring loom to source power indirectly (I don’t want any overloading of the cars wiring).
ive fitted the headlight washer motor and updated washer bottle but as stated the car never came with the applicable loom fittings for an easy plug and play option.
Still struggling with the connection for where to add the loom connector for the wiper loom that I managed to get from a donor car they eBay.
what i have is that the wiring loom is installed but totally can’t make out from the schematic where the two connector plug is supposed to connect to? Is it under the dash behind the steering column shroud or to the fuse box?
looking at my fuse box the 15 fuse for headlight Wipers is already installed however the car never originally came with headlight wiper loom being a Spanish car originally.
Purely looking at the wiring diagram I sent earlier (don't have access to my car to look physically) - The 2 wire 'T' shaped connector you have there appears to be plug "C-1965" which has a SW-VT (black - violet) and a SW-GE (Black - yellow) wire. If you look down below the numbered border of the wiring diagram, it shows all the plugs and their positions. For C-1965 it says "near box" which I can only assume means fuse box - but I don't really know. David
