Very fast car indeed...and apparently on standard gearbox and clutch !

As cool as Lambos are though, I do prefer the look of an R8

 

Is R8 same engine and box ?

 

Not sure on specifics....but largely they're a shared platform.

Audi is available in both V8 and V10 formats, so it would make sense for the gearboxes to be either same, or very similar.

 

Lambo all day long over R8. Why pay all that money to drive an Audi? If you're buying a supercar, buy one with a supercar badge in my view

I know the 5.2 v10 engine in the C6 S6 is the same as the lambo engine apart from bolt I’m stuff like the inlet manifold and a few other bits.

what I find mad is the rs6 got two turbochargers, making it more tunable than the lambo, I have a mate with a 820bhp rs6 and got it just to beat a rival who upped his game and got a lambo

 

There nowhere near the same cost though, huracan Ł130k, R8 Ł60k, if there same platform then around Ł50k to tune, I'd rather spend Ł110k for an 1100 hp Audi than spend Ł180k for an 1100hp lambo.

Money no object then yes lambo no question

 

They must be easily tuneable to over 1000 hp aswell

 

Because the R8 looks better.

You've hit the nail on the head mate, bang per buck is what it's all about for me 😁😁

Would cost 3x as much as my gtr and be considerably slower about 460 hp shy, lambo is lighter but not by enough to compensate 460 hp

And running costs definately be more than a shonky old Datsun 🤣😂

Still a bloody nice car though i love it 👌

 

I would love to crawl all over one to see how well engineered the mods are on these big powered cars.

Defo agree. I'm i think the Lambo is a nicer looking car than the Audi.

 

Love a lambo the v10 I drove wow what a sound track I thought as the race instructor was shouting at me to change gear NOPE!!😂😂😂

 

The red Ungerground Racing Huracan from the states is absolutely ballistic!
and still a road car I believe.
Love a Lambo, dream lottery car that for me.

I haven't seen that Paul, I know the gtrs in America are over 3000 hp 😮
i think for a 2 seater a twin turbo huracan is about as good as it gets money no object
