Just looking into a private plate for my gtr, gotta get the 09 plate off it it's dressed as a 2017 lol

I've found DIG 898 and is appropriate as I run a plant hire muck shifting business with machines digging all day

Just trying to think of any other angles to look at for a plate ?
Tried my initials CRB but nothing came up that caught my eye

the svm hulk has been broken for parts so see no reason mine can't be CBS HULK

 

I think the dig one is the best. I expect all the Mud ones have been taken by 4x4 owners.

 

Keep it simple.... Don't get something that doesn't quite read what you have to keep explaining to people....
it seems that the more obvious a word is the more expensive it is....I just went for a cheap Ł250 dvla plate of mine and my kids imitial….means nothing to anyone but its obvious its a private plate and hides the fact my C63s 11 years old....

So far I'm leaning towards C8 HLK as my favourite, the dig one is Ł1000 what a rip off for what it is

 

I'd just get a nice dateless plate.

That hulk plate works perfectly, get that. Everything else you've shown isn't great IMHO.

 

the simple 5 digit plates look better imo.
a guy I work with got a private plate ….its something like SC 08 JLC which apparently is his and his wives initials and the year they were married....looks just like a normal plate though so you cant tell its personal....and his cars much newer so makes it look old....pretty much pointless really ...

id never spent as much as a grand a plate though....I did see J4 MES being offered up for auction but the starting price was Ł6500....silly money....
hate seeing all those BAZ DAZ CAZ 4473 type plates around...

 

That J4 MES plate would be cheap at Ł6500 I reckon, unless the plate reads something without having to explain then plates with a year letter aren't my thing.

 

I agree J4MES worth Ł6500 all day long awesome plate, C4RLB my ideal plate it's out there but someone has it on vehicle

 

Im waiting on a response about it, but at nearly Ł5k I think it's way overpriced, I don't mind paying for something but I won't pay over the odds

I checked with my mate who deals in plates, he says that J4 MES plate is Ł50k plus easy

 

Could you ask him what C4RLB would be worth approx ?

That car will be so awesome on it's own, once you start using it in anger you won't need a special number plate imo. People will soon get to recognise it and what it is capable of!!!!!

 

It's not about people recognisong it mate it's a special car and needs a special plate on it, gf09 tfh or whatever just ain't gonna cut it lol

what about a GTR plate? Considering your buying it just for the car? Although HULK is a good plate I admit.

H7 ULK by far best looking but is it Ł3300 better for having 1 less 7 or Ł4650 better than L7 ULK, H7 still has an extra digit in it, whereas L7 isn't, if I could find L1 ULK I think that would be perfect as as L1 is as close to a H combined that is possible with a plate

I do not think many people would get the Hulk connection with H3 VLK...not that it matters what someone else thinks.

You can write to DVLA and ask them to contact the owner of the vehicle with C4RLB plate...I understand they do pass it on as my mate had 70Y and the owner of 7OY contacted him and sold him the sister plate, my mate made 50k by selling them as a pair.

 

I've done it quick before I change my mind lol
I can't pay Ł5k with a 7 in it that means nothing it will just bug me forever at that price
