Default Mytyres.co.uk Uniroyal RS 5

Just in case anyone is interested mytyres.co.uk are doing 255 35 R18 Uniroyal Rainsport 5's for £115.80 fully fitted. I think that's a pretty good price so just thought I'd post it up.
I've got the Rainsport 3's on the front on my E91 Bmw 330d which I cant complain about so as I now need some rears thought I might as well give these a try at that price, so I've got two on order that will shortly be delivered to my selected fitting centre.
Never used mytyres.co.uk before but hopefully it will be trouble free.

Cue the mass debate about which tyres are best every time the subject of tyres comes up on here!

I also didn't know there was a rainsport 4 never mind 5....3's have been my tyre of choice on all my cars for the last couple of years,
how does that price for the RS5s compare to 3s? had a look....they don't list a 265x30x19.....

I didnt either until I stumbled across them while searching for tyres! From what I've read, the main thing I picked out was that they have improved the shoulders to give better wear. But I guess only time will tell. I think they'll have to do well to beat the Falkens that are currently on the back of my 330d as they were on there when a bought it and have lasted really really well considering I have 673nm at my disposal! I think they've got over 20k on them so far which I'm very impressed with.

I dont think there is a RS4. Apparently from what I've read, the number 4 is bad luck in China or something so you wont find stuff like this with a 4 in it. Not sure how true that is but I read it online so it must be

that’s not far off what my S4 is pushing out, although through all 4 wheels, the RS3’s are soft, I’ve not done 10k on mine and they are over half done easy, but I’ve punished them on every trip as the car isn’t a daily, took it round wales and the Pennines for starters.

hopefully they haven’t traded wet grip for wear rate, might have to give them a try as soon as I get chance

a quick google confirms number 4 is indeed unlucky in china because it apparently is pronounced similar to the word death.....
