LARGE COMPANY CONNECTIONS?

i know speed varies..

but is say a blue chips Internet connection classed as 'broadband' regardless of its speed over typical home based braodband

Business ADSL usually has better contention rates than home.

Most buiness's i would say have leased lines tho.

nope, you would call it a "leased line"

If they have a business broadband solution in place, you would call it broadband.

 

Adsl connection is adsl regardless of what you call it dave

Leased line is leased line
Cable is cable etc....

 

all true, however, you could call all of these broadband!

you can't call leased line broadband, as you can have a 64kb leased line too.

Broadband is ADSL / Cable, nothing else really ?

at the end of the day, as described by Dave, a Large Corporate connection could be called broadband. It's certainly not going to be narrowband..... especially where he works.
