Has anyone on here got this diagnosic tester??

I've just bought one and I've had a quick play with it.

I'm just wanting to know can anyone point me in the right direction regards checking diesel soot levels and dpf temperature??

I've only downloaded the normal software and rather I'm doing something wrong or the forscan is a bit pants cause I'm not that impressed tbh.

 

You may need the extended licence Glenn, it is free but you need to apply for it on the forscan website.

 

isnt the License for the key programming only -

so the Forscan connects? you can see your car ecu etc? at first its seems shit but once u start getting in to GEM module and changing things turning off air bag lights etc lol its cool as for your situation ...id say keep going through the menus and u best have it on a laptop or PC rather than the Lite mobile version

some infor above! also to monitor levels ie on the oscilloscope option fuel air whatever etc u need to add it as a field for monitoring....

 

That'll be the Elm interface, same as I bought but haven't used yet

No it's one that plugs in a computer via a usb port.

 

I was thinking this. I need some spare time to have a play about with it. Spare time is a bloody rarity these days.

 

this is the one I bought. There is loads on ebay to choose from.

 

I've seen 'spark plug steve' on You Tube use this for bleeding his brakes and stuff, he did mention about getting some help with it on one of his vids.
