Be like that wedding video where the bride gets in and the driver tries to show off and sends it into the wall iirc

what size tyres has he squeezed under the arches? Will they take 255’s? This time of year though holding 750bhp on the deck is going to be fun, I bet it feels savage on boost just like it’s mentioned on the video.

his comment of “this is a real 750bhp” made me laugh, just goes to show that some of the cars have exaggerated figures, but I do know the Cossie lump really punches you old school style.

one of the reasons I love driving my S4 and the 2.7tt engine has old school turbo delivery which makes it feel that bit faster.

It sounds awesome on boost 😎 you know your in for a good time when you hear that gearbox whine.

i can’t believe it’s on 235’s no wonder it’s lively, I couldn’t remember what I had fitted to my mk5 but iirc it was in fact 205’s and not 225’s

hope your good anyway? still haven’t had my s4 painted 🤦🏻‍♂️ but it’s been to a few shows and I’m enjoying it when I can be arsed to drag it out so all’s good 👍

Mine will also be on solid lifters. Can’t wait that escort is a credit to its owner. To me that’s what cosworths are about savage power fook all this going back to standard shit lol

650-680 ish I’m still on a standard crank so that will be the limit. 200 block proper liners marks spec rods and pistons. Mark had a turbo in mind so I’ll go with that. 9180 would be a waste if I can get the power I want with a lesser one.

I agree with you about the standard set up, to me it would be boring. Mine is nowhere near what yours will be but as soon as I got mine 25 years ago I started modifying it! cossiedave has got the ultimate Escos and must have so much fun humbling "supercars" at a fraction of the cost.!!

The youtuber bloke was saying "this is a true 750" and he couldn't believe how quick it was compared to other 500+ cars he had been in....he needs to understand power to weight ratio better...a new Skyline is much heavier than a 1200kg Cossie.

I watched that Escos YouTube video a while back and the guy has done quite a few others, all standard'ish looking cars with mega power. Good watch!

All it needs now is a sequential box to finish it off

My sisters other half has a BMW 435i petrol and he thinks his bm will kill my cossie. My cossie is a hell of a lot lighter and it has more power too. He might kill me on the corners though ha ha.

Do people tend to use a 60+mph long first and then tightly stack the rest of the gears or does a big power turbo car need longer gears to pull against? on a road car.

I think pete uses the 2wd ratios hence why 1st is so long
