Do you know the 0-100 time on your car? I imagine 0-60 could be very low but to get a proper time you could risk breaking the diffs for a full bore launch.

I often found on my car that a half hearted launch would just bog, I tried it on grass and with all 4 wheels spinning it still took off like crazy.

I bent my 4th gear selector fork on the Oppliger, Bara said the short shift is too harsh.

I know of two Opplinger box’s jumping out of 4th like yours and it wasn’t a bent selector even though one of them was charged for it and still jumping out of gear.rhe other morning been stripped to find fault even though box not used. All built around the same time.

No trouble, I picked my new engine up a few months ago, it’s currently sitting on my living room floor.
Need to start tidying up the engine bay and prepping it for the new engine to go in, still need lots of other parts too.
Just hard work with the garage I currently have.

I did indeed go for a Precision in the end

Cheers Paul

I had it happen twice on the same box rebuilt by the same person. I won’t say how unhappy I was with the situation but I think you can tell lol.

I never got a decent launch in as AWD packed up then I gave up and broke it for parts

With a shit launch did 0-100 mph 7.2 seconds, 1/4 mile mph did 129.7 mph, and a near perfect 30-30 mph in 9.76 seconds

Definitely a very fast car though. Just a pity the likes of E85 isnt available at pumps !

Yeah must say I'm impressed with how much modern boxes and diffs seem to take I guess boost by gear helps alot with that, the addiction power and modding creates is plain to see lol that motor is bordering on undrivable

Nothing to do with boost by gear....modern DCT stuff are just bloody strong. And again the clutches can handle a lot of power, without ever being horrific to drive. Win Win

There is no reason that motor shouldnt be perfectly driveable, again, especially with the DCT. It should drive near standard.

I've just got my old plots out on vbox for the gtr
v power 30-130 6.88 seconds

E50 30-130 6.28 seconds

And 100-200 kph e50 4.28 seconds

You can see one shift in first plot the v power 30-130 mph that was wheel spin shifting from first to second I believe, other than that all look like constant linear acceleration

I'd love to see a sequential comparison of those pulls
