I think pete uses the 2wd ratios hence why 1st is so long
Do you know the 0-100 time on your car? I imagine 0-60 could be very low but to get a proper time you could risk breaking the diffs for a full bore launch.
I often found on my car that a half hearted launch would just bog, I tried it on grass and with all 4 wheels spinning it still took off like crazy.
I bent my 4th gear selector fork on the Oppliger, Bara said the short shift is too harsh.
I know of two Opplinger boxs jumping out of 4th like yours and it wasnt a bent selector even though one of them was charged for it and still jumping out of gear.rhe other morning been stripped to find fault even though box not used. All built around the same time.
Do people tend to use a 60+mph long first and then tightly stack the rest of the gears or does a big power turbo car need longer gears to pull against? on a road car.

Mines still in the crate it came direct from the guy that makes them it was checked as he put a taller 5th on for me for bigger top end so fingers crossed on that aye

What's happened mate engine trouble ? Did you put a precision on in the end ?
No trouble, I picked my new engine up a few months ago, its currently sitting on my living room floor.
Need to start tidying up the engine bay and prepping it for the new engine to go in, still need lots of other parts too.
Just hard work with the garage I currently have.
Just shows how easy it is to make modern stuff fast. And DCT gearboxes are just superb.
Although why destroy a nice interior for what seems to be minimal weight savings ? Just hardly seems worth it. Many aspects there regarding SRS systems and no doubt cats would render it not MOT-able as is, despite what he says.
Definitely a very fast car though. Just a pity the likes of E85 isnt available at pumps !
Yeah must say I'm impressed with how much modern boxes and diffs seem to take I guess boost by gear helps alot with that, the addiction power and modding creates is plain to see lol that motor is bordering on undrivable

Nothing to do with boost by gear....modern DCT stuff are just bloody strong. And again the clutches can handle a lot of power, without ever being horrific to drive. Win Win
There is no reason that motor shouldnt be perfectly driveable, again, especially with the DCT. It should drive near standard.
I've just got my old plots out on vbox for the gtr
v power 30-130 6.88 seconds
E50 30-130 6.28 seconds
And 100-200 kph e50 4.28 seconds
You can see one shift in first plot the v power 30-130 mph that was wheel spin shifting from first to second I believe, other than that all look like constant linear acceleration
I'd love to see a sequential comparison of those pulls
Hi i am looking for a 2wd sapphire cosworth ideally good history and not too many miles, any colour considered. Please get in touch if you have one for sale?
