I’m starting to assemble my V6 mt75 hybrid..

I have a bit of a concern over the rear mainshaft bearing orientation, on the 4wd box I stripped the open side of the bearing was facing the gearbox, on the 2wd box, the bearing had the closed side was facing the gearbox.

From what I can see, if I fit the closed side towards the gearbox, the bearing will run dry, as there is little to no oil feed to the rearmost housing where the speedo drive is.

the front bearing fits closed side to gearbox, but, the housing has slots for oil feed.

can anyone tell me the correct orientation of the rear bearing?
