Picked up a used one of these a while ago. Blue anodised and to be honest, installing it for
looks as much as anything else. Question: do I just set it to the middle of the scale, set things up as normal and let
whoever tunes it (eventually) guddle about with it?
Ported head, Piper 285T, balanced crank/rods, uprated actuator,Bayjoo chip and big exhaust.

 

Yup if you are going to take it to someone who knows what they are doing, just do a like for like with the standard pulley. TDC on the pulley in line with the dot stamped on the head - wont do any damage that way
