Default Help identifying ford brake reservoir

Does anyone recognise this brake master cylinder reservoir

I've found a master cylinder that looks identical it's listed as a Sierra one

My cap is home made junk with a hole in it that lets water in and has rusted the master out !
I need a new cap and hopefully a chrome cover for the reservoir but it doesn't look like any Sierra reservoirs I've seen for sale ?
I'm hopeing someone will recognise it

Problem is...they all look very similar.

It's very hard to tell from the photo though. It almost looks like yours has only one feed from reservoir to master ? Although that would be very unusual.

There may be some ID markings if you remove it ? Any idea what the servo itself is from ? any brand names anywhere ?

Or just replace the whole master and servo as a unit.

The reservoir looks alittle like an old volvo or even a beetle type.

If your changing it anyway id take it off to get any numbers off the m/c, has it been modded to allow for the bracing?

The local motor factors should have books with measurements etc to get a replacement.

I want to keep it all, figured it out today it's from an f reg Sierra 1.8 pinto engine, I've ordered new master cylinder and cap for reservoir, I'd like a polished alloy cover for the reservoir like I had on my cossies years ago if anyone still makes them ?
