Default Finally found a hot rod that fits the bill

Picking it up sunday 1959 Humber hawk
454 BBC, 4 speed auto, space frame front end on Jag steering and coilovers, Salisbury rear beam with uprated shafts, tubbed rear end, 6 seats.
Dyno print out shows iirc 280 hp 360 lbft very smooth and pulls from idle, I think may have small ports heads can soon rectify that if required
Fuel cell in the boot, roll cage that is tucked tight up out of the way
And most importantly rhd

A very unusual 60s classic to convert into a hot rod! Never seen another one but it looks great!! Whoever has done the conversion has taken a lot of time to get it right. You should have a lot of fun in it!!

It looks similar to a 55 Chevy, I was trying to buy a 57 bel air but seller pulled out of sale, this has come up at right money so I've bought it.
The seller also has a MK1 escort Mexico, series 1 rs turbo for sale
Original builder has said it took 4 years to build and was built 15 years ago, some slight paint imperfections but for 15 years its still very good

Cheers mate yeah it sounds good the missus loves it to
Did you see the video above ? With the drive gears in it instead of chain it whines like a supercharger

The main thing is the body is straight and paint looks real good aside from a little cracking around bumper area

Il give it a full check over once I get it home, I can see 500 hp 500 lbft on the cards tbh lol

Are you going to pod ? When is it ? Depends on when it's ready mate I've got a few jobs to do fuel gauge doesn't work, centre rear armrest is gone and a fire extinguisher is in the hole, I need to refill the hole and fit 6 seat belts all multipoint and then just check engine and trans over for pressures and that it's all set up right first

PS it's at the right money, needs abit if paint to be concours but it's fine to use no rust
