Currently restoring an EFI XR3i that will be running OFAB due to the power I am aiming for (220+) I need to run injectors that are better than beiges. So I’m want to run some kind of piggyback ecu as I don’t want to butcher the old wiring loom. OFAM looked perfect to me but they don’t sell it anymore. I know it’s based on megasquirt but from my understanding you can’t run megasquirt as a piggyback. What can I do???

 

Just install a new loom or if you are handy with a wiring diagram you may be able to make a conversion lead to connect the original loom to a new ecu.

I wouldn't want prehistoric wiring running a decent tuned engine.

Ask if he has a definition file to share. If so you could fit bigger injectors and reprogram accordingly.

 

While I can do most stuff electrically I have never done anything engine management wise but have been looking at the omex stuff.Is it possible to find anyone who will build a loom specifically for a CVH.
